How To Be Rid Of Vaginal Discharge And Foul Vaginal Odors Quickly
Has your boyfriend made a joke about your “fishy smell?” He may not be joking but really doesn’t know how to broach the topic with you. If you’ve been experiencing burning and/or itching and an increase in vaginal discharge, then chances are you have an infection known as bacterial vaginosis. Follow along so that you can find out how to be rid of vaginal discharge and foul vaginal odors quickly and get your life back on track.
Should I Go To The Doctor?
While bacterial vaginosis is a messy and stinky problem, it is certainly not life threatening. It arises simply out of an imbalance in the natural bacteria that reside in your vagina. When this balance gets whacked, you will have an overgrowth of the “bad” bacteria and that’s when an infection develops.
The doctor may look at you with a jaundiced eye implying that sexual promiscuity could be the cause of your infection. But you know that you are NOT promiscuous, and it’s irritating to have him (or her) think that! Most likely, he will prescribe an antibiotic that eventually results in a yeast infection. At least every time I take prescribed antibiotics that is what happens to me.
Stop the Viscous Cycle
Scratching, itching, burning, take antibiotics, scratch, itch, and burn all over again. It’s a never-ending cycle if you end up on antibiotics and it’s hard to break. The reason? Antibiotics destroy the good bacteria, in not only your private parts, but everywhere else as well. Your whole digestive system can get out of whack and as a woman, you know what that results in: constipation, diarrhea, or both!
So What Do I Do?
One of the best cures of a bacterial imbalance is to soak a tampon in non-flavored yogurt and insert it into your vagina. Make sure the yogurt package says LIVE yogurt cultures on the side of the package though; otherwise, it won’t work. Yogurt is great for re-balancing your digestive track when it’s out of whack as well.
Douching is not highly recommended because it disturbs the natural balance in your vagina as well, however, if you are suffering from the infection, a quick fix is to use a vinegar and water douche, put about two tablespoons of vinegar in a regular sized douche bottle and then fill it up with water. This will help flush the bacteria, temporarily get rid of the smell and allow you some relief for a while.
Be sure to stock up on vitamin C and include it in your regular vitamin regimen to keep your immunities up and to prevent recurring bacterial vaginosis episodes.
I know how embarrassing this can be, I’ve had several bouts with this stuff myself. And frankly, it stinks, it’s messy, and I just don’t like it. Twitching around in your seat and having to run to the bathroom every five minutes to find relief is not the answer.
I found relief when I found this natural remedy that has helped to keep this nasty infection away. You can be rid of vaginal odor and discharge in three days with this great program.
